If you, like me, are always looking for ways to introduce healthy activities to share with your kids, you will enjoy this product.
Parents teach their kids how to walk, how to hold a spoon, how to brush their teeth; this was different, I’ve never done yoga before so when we got a copy of Storyland Yoga by Playful Planet both my daughter and I were really excited to try it because it’s something that we could learn together. Yoga has great benefits for kids, it helps them calm down (which is also a benefit for us moms), strengthen their muscles and increases flexibility.
This is a kid’s yoga DVD with more than yoga poses, this DVD has an amazing message of love for nature. The host, Certified Children’s Yoga Instructor, Ahmed Fahmy, does an amazing job engaging kids’ attention, using storytelling to teach your kid yoga poses and help them develop a new appreciation of nature. The DVD comes with two stories, Condor Trek and Save the Whale; both filled with an amazing eco-conscious message for kids. You and your child will go from saving condor eggs and returning them to their mom and dad to saving a beached whale; all while having fun and doing yoga… What a great adventure!
The DVD includes a special features menu where the host gives parents tips and explains the benefits of yoga for kids; you can also see all the yoga poses that your child will learn.

I will definitely be turning this into a daily routine for us with the little one trying to copy everything we do; it really is an amazing way to spend time with your kids that is not only fun but also filled with great benefits.
